It was after Tom (our vet) encouraged Jonathan to switch Honey to a raw food diet (with fantastic results) that we got the idea for the business.
This area of the website is devoted to the science of feeding raw meat, bones and vegetables to dogs. The focus of the articles is on the role of diet in canine health and wellbeing. In particular, we explain the rationale behind a raw food diet, the benefits, the function of different food groups and the process of switching. We’ve also looked at the history of manufactured dog food, why it may actually be harmful to dogs and how the pet food industry misleads consumers.
For those interested in learning more we have included all our sources of reference. Naturally, we will be delighted to answer any specific questions you may have in relation to feeding dog raw food.

Why Honey’s gets tails wagging
We make your dog’s food to order. This means we can adjust the ingredients and quantities to suit his or her needs.
We use locally sourced, organic ingredients. Our ingredients are as good as you would find in a swanky restaurant.
We supply our food fresh. We aim to get it from field to Fido (or Fifi) in under four days.
We deal direct with our customers. We pass on the saving, which is why you can feed a small dog on Honey’s for as little as 99p a day and a large dog for as little as £2.50 a day.
We give dogs what they thrive on. Raw food. It’s what they ate until the dog food industry persuaded owners to buy processed, cooked and/or dried food.
Honey’s Real Dog Food contains no preservatives, additives or chemicals. It is not treated in any way. It is the food nature really intended for your dog.
