Free nutrition advice from our Health Team
If you are responsible for a dog (whether the dog is a working dog or not) that has any sort of a health issue then please don’t hesitate to contact our Health Team for advice. There’s no charge and you don’t have to be a customer.
The team, which is headed up by Ruth (an escapee from the pharmaceutical sector), draws on the expertise of veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, veterinary practice managers, nutritionists and more.
There is a direct connection between diet and health. We have found that many minor and annoying conditions can be cured by a change of diet, while more serious conditions can generally be improved, and sometimes completely resolved.
We have a great deal of experience in helping people make decisions about medical treatment for their dogs.
Sometimes conventional medicine doesn’t seem to be making a difference or may even be making the condition worse. There are an enormous number of complimentary and alternative therapies available, but it isn’t always easy to decide which is worth pursuing and to what an extent.
Although limited by only being able to provide telephone and email support, there is much we can still do. Our tips and advice cover diet, of course, but also other aspects of treatment. We always stress that you should take veterinary advice before deciding on any course of action.
If you would like to consult with our Health Team please call, write or email. Do remember, we are happy to help – free of charge – even if you never, ever plan to become a customer.
