Pasture Fed Beef for Puppies - Raw Dog Food

There is no better way to ensure that your puppy leads a long and healthy life than to start them off on Honey’s.

Our (sorry, it is a bit of a mouthful) Out of Season Working Dog Food Pasture Fed Beef for Puppies formula with vegetables, contains approximately 90% raw, pasture fed beef (including finely ground bone meal and heart) and 10% fresh, seasonal vegetables.

It is the ‘puppy’ version of a formula created by our first Chief Veterinary Surgeon, Dr. Tom Farrington, for working dogs who are resting and/or taking between zero and 6 hours exercise a day.

The main difference is that the bone (which provides around a third of a dog’s nutritional requirements) has been ground more finely, there is a lower percentage of vegetables and we have added some extra omega 3 (excellent for brain, eye, skin and coat development and immune modulation).

We make all our recipes by hand and in small batches using different cuts of meat each time. This helps to ensure greater variety. As a result, each batch may vary in terms of colour and consistency.

The first thing we ask about when visiting the Scottish, Welsh and English farmers from which we buy our beef is their soil. Why? Because good, healthy soil produces rich, luscious grass. And rich, luscious grass, by turn, produces juicier, more flavoursome, more nutritious beef.

All our beef is not only pasture (aka grass) fed but also free range. The cattle largely live out of doors (subject to weather conditions) in verdant fields with readily available shelter and water.

The vegetables are grown locally for us without the use of chemicals.

Honey’s is made using the freshest possible ingredients that would, if they weren’t becoming dog food, be 100% ideal for human consumption. This is really important not just for ethical reasons but because high quality ingredients contain much higher nutritional values.

All our ingredients come from British farms and are, therefore, seasonal.

Our food meets all the most vigorous nutritional guidelines as set out by the European Pet Food Industry Federation (FEDIAF), the Pet Food Manufacturers Association (PFMA) and the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO). We achieve this without adding any supplements. We believe that healthy dogs should get all their nutrition from their food.
