Active Free Range Chicken - Raw Dog Food

Our Active Working Dog Food Free Range Chicken formula with vegetables contains approximately 2/3rd raw, free range chicken (including bone and heart) and 1/3rd fresh, seasonal vegetables.

This recipe was formulated by our first Chief Veterinary Surgeon, Dr. Tom Farrington. It has a higher fat content and is designed for dogs who work physically for at least six hours a day. It is only available in 500g portions with vegetables.

If your dog is active for less than six hours a day our Free Range Chicken with vegetables may be more suitable.

We make all our recipes by hand and in small batches using different cuts of meat each time. This helps to ensure greater variety. As a result, each batch may vary in terms of colour and consistency.

The majority of our chickens come from a single farm in Norfolk, where they lead healthy, outdoor lives.

They are raised in small flocks and are free to roam through pasture and woodland during the day.

At night, they have safe, farm housing complete with perches.

Their natural diet (which includes seeds, worms, insects, grasses and roots) is supplemented by a specially formulated chicken feed.

The vegetables are grown locally for us without the use of chemicals.

Honey’s is made using the freshest possible ingredients that would, if they weren’t becoming dog food, be 100% suitable for human consumption. This is really important not just for ethical reasons but because high quality ingredients contain much higher nutritional values.

All our ingredients come from British farms and are, therefore, seasonal.

Our food meets all the most vigorous nutritional guidelines as set out by the European Pet Food Industry Federation (FEDIAF), the Pet Food Manufacturers Association (PFMA) and the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO). We achieve this without adding any supplements. We believe that healthy dogs should get all their nutrition from their food.

Active Free Range Chicken (complete pet food for dogs) with vegetables

Composition: Minced whole chicken including finely ground bone (67%). Minced carrot, cabbage, cauliflower, parsnip and other seasonal vegetables (33%).

Analytical constituents: Moisture: 72.4%; Protein: 12.4%; Crude Fat: 10.6%; Crude Ash: 2.2%; Crude Fibre: 0.5%.
