Working Dog Food

Honey’s founder, Jonathan, is somewhat obsessed with working dogs, as you may have guessed from our logo!

Indeed, when we launched the only range we offered was working dog food – each recipe having been specially formulated for us for this purpose by our Chief Veterinary Surgeon at the time, Tom Farrington MVB MRCVS VetMFHom.

We offer two specific ranges of working dog food, being:

Active. This has a higher fat content. It provides the energy required for long hours in the field.
Out of Season. This has a lower fat content. It was formulated for working dogs who are resting or in low-level training.

Both ranges are made using only fresh, free range, pasture fed, wild or organic meat – all of which has been sourced from British farmers. What about the all-important bone element so crucial to your dog’s health? We mince the bone (so it can barely be seen) and mix it in. Most working dog food recipes are available with and without vegetables in two sizes: 250g and 500g.
